01Does BU1ST train foundation models from scratch?+

Not as a default claim. BU1ST selects and configures suitable models, builds retrieval and tools around them, and fine-tunes specialist behaviour only where repeated evidence justifies it. Training a frontier foundation model is a different category of work.

02Can a system use both local and cloud models?+

Yes. A controlled router can keep sensitive work local while using approved external models for workloads where they provide a clear advantage. The boundary is designed around the organisation’s risk, latency and capability requirements.

03What makes an AI agent safe enough to use at work?+

A defined job, approved knowledge, limited tools, explicit permissions, human approval for sensitive actions, refusal and escalation rules, and an execution history that can be reviewed.

04Do we need to replace our existing software?+

Often no. BU1ST can connect to approved existing systems where the integration is reliable and the ownership boundary remains clear. Replacement is considered when the current system blocks the required workflow or control.
